Chemical spills into the caboolture river are not contained, on rainy day oil spills can be seen floating down the river.No security anyone can enter the premises and take what they want.Only 1 of the 2 boat ramps have a chemical trap, they do most of there work on the ramp without the chemical trap.There electrical supplies are a death trap extension leads run to the vessels and when it rains they submerged in water.
I just spent 17 weeks on the hard stand the staff were excellent and a well stocked chandlery was vary handy . Steve
A small range of fishing gear, heaps of products for boat maintenance and repairs.Will beat the prices of Bunnings or other hardware stores without the need for gimmicks. Very wide range of marine grade SS parts, screws, nuts and bolts, paints, fillers, anodes, chain, apoxy and synthetic resins and matting. Cash or card.Opening hours are 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Saturday until noon and closed Sundays.Has a boat ramp which has a $1 per use honesty box at the shed. I think it's 24 hour access as there's no gate.No room for trailer parking though so you need to park 200m up the road near the Caboolture River bend.
Montys Marina has been situated along Beachmere rd for as long as i can remember. Supplying both locals, interstate and even international boaties a safe haven to put their boats on the slipways and get their hands dirty. All necessary products needed to do repair work can be purchased at the Marinas kiosk.
